Enjoy the benefits of keeping your scripts on file:

No more lost repeats - your prescriptions are kept safely and securely at our pharmacy.

Save time  Simply phone, fax, or email us before you come to the pharmacy and we can prepare your prescriptions and have them ready for you.

Prescription renewal reminders  We can advise you when your repeats are running out so you never find yourself without a repeat or with an expired script.

Prescription record maintenance  We will keep a record of your prescription purchases for Safety Net and tax purposes.

Order other items with your scripts like vitamins or other pharmacy products so they can be ready to collect with your prescriptions.

Medication Advice and Counselling

Do you have questions about the medicines you are currently taking?

Your doctor has put you on a new medication and you would like to know more about it?

Does your new medication require the use of a device, such as an asthma inhaler, spacer, etc?

Are you experiencing a medical condition and are unsure whether you need to see a doctor?

Our pharmacists are available to provide assistance, such as answering your queries, demonstrating the use of a device, recommending products to help relieve your symptoms, or refer you to other health care professionals when appropriate.

MedsCheck and Diabetes MedsCheck

Do you take five or more prescription medicines?

Do you live at home in a community setting and have a valid Medicare or Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) card?

Have you had a recent significant medical event?

Have you recently been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes in the last twelve months?

Have you had a MedsCheck, Diabetes MedsCheck, Home Medicines Review (HMR) or Residential Medication Management Review (RMMR) more than twelve months ago?

You might be eligible for a free MedsCheck or Diabetes MedsCheck service by one of our pharmacists.

This service allows you to spend up to half an hour with one of our pharmacists in our consultation room. During this time, the pharmacist can help with any questions or concerns you might have regarding your medications or medical condition. You might be asked to bring in all the medications, including over-the-counter medicines and herbal supplements, you are currently taking so the pharmacist can provide a thorough review. A report will then be generated and forwarded to your doctor if required, with your permission.

Medical Certificates

If you have an illness or injury that renders you unfit for work, our pharmacists may provide certification to your employer following a consultation if it is deemed appropriate.

Blood Pressure Monitoring

Have you been under a lot of stress from work or home?

Do you have a regular high salt and fat intake?

         Do you rarely exercise?

Do you have a family history of cardiovascular disease?

Have you recently started on a new medication for high blood pressure?

High blood pressure is a major risk factor for cardiovascular disease, heart attack and stroke. Our pharmacists can assist you in monitoring your blood pressure to help identify the condition early and refer you to other health care professionals if appropriate.

Flu Vaccination

For those who do not qualify for the National Immunisation Program (NIP), we have licensed and first-aid trained pharmacists who can administer the flu vaccine in-store with no appointment required. Please call us to find out if you qualify for the NIP program.

The vaccination process can take up to half an hour, during which you will receive pre- and post-vaccination counselling by the pharmacist and will be required to remain at the pharmacy for fifteen minutes following vaccination to ensure you have ready access to medical care in the unlikely event of a severe or rare adverse reaction.

Smoking Cessation

Do you wish to quit smoking?

Have you tried numerous times to quit smoking and have been unsuccessful?

Are you a smoker who is planning to have a child or is pregnant?

Quitting smoking has immediate as well as long-term health benefits such as reducing your risk of cardiovascular disease and stroke, lung and other cancers, and improving your general well-being.

We have a range of nicotine replacement therapy products to aid quitting such as Nicotinell patches and gums, Nicorette patches, gums, lozenges, inhalers, and spray. Our pharmacists can advise you on the most suitable product/s and method/s to help you quit smoking effectively.
